For every new release from Oracle, it offers a new trend in providing services, and for the 13 Spotlight release, key areas are Customer service, Global and Industry, and Innovative Solutions.
Customer Service - For the past few releases, Oracle’s focus is in providing services to the customers. Thus Oracle is making sure to take necessary actions regarding cloud operations and let the customers utilize the features and functionality. In release 13, Oracle has made a number of key investments to directly respond to the customer demand for enhancements and help make its customers more successful.
Global And Industry - Oracle Financials cloud has to provide flexibility to grow in parallel to the Oracle customer growth. Business expansion around the globe is most common in the industry and thus, Oracle provides capabilities to grow the business of the customers in more number of countries for each release. For the next release, International Financial Reporting Standards(IFRS) is one area where Oracle’s next release target to meet the new accounting standards in January 2019. Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Korea and Colombia are the new countries listed in the new release that helps these countries to meet local regulations for tax accounting and statutory reporting.
Innovative Solutions - Oracle Cloud has the capability to meet all the business core requirements of customers around the world. Oracle is now concentrating to serve advanced features of customer business, as it has already covered major fundamentals.This will help the customer to extend business values by providing innovative solutions using new technologies and modern practices to bring better insights more effective working practices and deliver real competitive advantage.
