Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition Plus (BIEE)

This suite is geared to big business and work with multiple data sources.
Consists of all Oracle tools BISE1 (except database) plus some additional applicable to the same environment, and have additional functionality with the same CPM utilities, monitoring and alerts, or to use analytic functions in offline mode .
Plus What’s coming for Hyperion software, which has been added to further expand the functionality available, especially as regards utilities Financial Reporting, one of his best assets. This software works very well in OLAP mode, although it needs based on a multidimensional engine, and Oracle BI Server is not, although it does the enterprise version can connect to OLAP engines and other data sources.
In any event, to take full advantage of the Hyperion applications is shown as having or acquiring also a MOLAP database and Essbase. You can also use other sources like SAP BW Multidimensional, or Microsoft OLAP.
If the suite is licensed per user minimum is 50, and also can be licensed per processor. It is not limited in number of data sources, users, or CPU’s rather than the budget available.
Because it contains all BISE1 release applications, especially the BI server, the passage of more modest version of the Enterprise is immediate, but if you want to use Hyperion applications things get a little more complicated.
This is the list of applications that comprise: (gray frame that is also part of Oracle BISE1)

Oracle BI Interactive Dashboards: interactive dashboards for testing environments.
Oracle BI Publisher (también conocido como XML Publisher): Reporting business operational and distribution of reports with great detail.
Oracle BI Delivers: Alerts and proactive monitoring of business activity
Oracle BI Disconnected Analytics: full analytic functionality for professionals in offline mode ‘mobile’. Utiliza técnicas de replicación. Using replication techniques.
Oracle BI Briefing Books:Snapshots of dashboard pages to display and share in disconnected mode.
Hyperion Interactive Reporting: Reporting ad-hoc intuitive and interactive.
Hyperion SQR Production Reporting: Reporting formats for submission of high quality, ready to work with large volumes
Hyperion Financial Reporting: Financial Reporting and management with formatted ‘book as’
Hyperion Web Analysis: Analysis, presentation and web-based OLAP reporting
